The Poitevin Marsh

Famous for its landscapes and history, the Marais Poitevin is a unique natural site in Europe, covering approximately 100,000 hectares, including three departments (Vendée, Deux-Sèvres and Charente-Maritime) and two regions (Pays de la Loire and Poitou-Charentes).
Known as the "Great Site of France", Le Marais Poitevin and its exceptional natural heritage can be visited and discovered by boat, horse, bicycle or on foot.
The seaside is there, a few minutes drive away. The large beaches on the Vendée coast are yours.
The campsite is located less than 10 minutes from the seaside resorts of La Tranche-sur-Mer and Longeville-sur-Mer. On the southern coast of Vendée, all the pleasures of the ocean are at your disposal: water sports (sailing, sand yachting, kite-surfing, surfing, windsurfing, paddleboarding, bodyboarding...), swimming and relaxing on magnificent white sand beaches, fishing on foot, not to mention superb sunsets!
To discover, the beach of Les Conches de la Tranche-sur-Mer, located 7 km from the campsite and famous for its fine sand, as well as its waves for surfing!
Many of you are amateurs, even hard fishermen!
There are many fishing spots in the area, but you can find what you are looking for just outside the Port Moricq campground.
